
Jackie Lin is a registered patent attorney and her practice focuses on corporate business and intellectual property matters. She specializes in trademark prosecution and handles all aspects of the federal trademark registration process, including application filing, statements of use, office action responses, and post-registration maintenance filings.
Prior to joining MKC Law Group, Ms. Lin practiced in Silicon Valley, representing individuals and companies in various industries seeking to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Ms. Lin attended Santa Clara University School of Law where she pursued a concentrated course of study in technology law and spent a summer abroad studying international business and Japanese patent and copyright law in Tokyo, Japan. Ms. Lin also held leadership roles in various student organizations and worked as a certified law clerk at the Alexander Law Center and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley where she provided pro bono advice and representation to under-represented individuals and families in consumer fraud and abuse cases, employment matters, and government-subsidized housing disputes.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Lin worked in academic medical research in the fields of pediatric diabetes, prostate cancer, and erectile dysfunction.
In her free time, Ms. Lin enjoys going to the beach and hiking with her two dogs.
